Zusammenfassung
Das häufige Vorkommen vertebragener zervikaler Syndrome und die nicht selten erheblichen
Unterschiede bei ihrer Beurteilung und Behandlung gaben Veranlassung, die Diagnostik
und konservative Therapie erneut sowie speziell unter neurophysiologischen und funktionspathologischen
Gesichtspunkten zu erörtern. Das gilt besonders für die sog. funktionellen Störungen,
so dass auf sie schwerpunktmäßg eingegangen wird. Eine auf klinische Syndrome ausgerichtete
Systematik wird begründet. Bei den Hinweisen zur Therapie der funktionellen zervikalen
Syndrome und des Radikulärsyndromes werden die vielfältigen konservativen Möglichkeiten
einschlielßlich ihrer Wirkungsmechanismen skizziert, auf flankierende Maßnahmen der
Rehabilitation und Prophylaxe wird hingewiesen.
Summary
The frequent occurrence of vertebrogenic cervical syndromes and the often considerable
differences in their assessment and treatment prompted a renewed discussion of diagnosis
and conservative therapy, with particular reference to the neurophysiological and
functional pathological angles. This applies, in particular, to the so-called functional
disturbances, and hence the article focusses especially on these. A system is described
and argued which is specifically oriented towards clinical syndromes. While pointing
to the therapy of the functional cervical syndromes and of the radicular syndrome,
the manifold conservative possibilities, including their mechanisms of action, are
outlined. Special attention is drawn to concomitant measures of rehabilitation prophylaxis.
